CLEMENS has advised the owners of SPECTRE A/S in connection with the sale of 1/3 of the shares to the private equity fund Industri Udvikling.
Founded in Ikast in 1947, SPECTRE develops and produces medium and high-end outdoor functional clothing for a number of international brands. The company has built its own production factories in Latvia and Vietnam with a total of approximately 1,500 employees, making it possible to produce innovative quality clothing at competitive prices.
With the investment, Industri Udvikling will contribute to SPECTRE A/S' continued growth journey and further development, where the injected capital will be used in particular to expand capacity.
The previous owners, brothers Jacob and Jesper Klausen, will continue in the company and retain a combined ownership of 2/3 of the shares.
