Individuals' need for legal advice can arise in connection with both the joyful events in life such as weddings, family expansion, buying or selling real estate. The reason may also be of a more unpleasant nature, such as separation/divorce or termination of cohabitation, estate administration, that you or your spouse/partner/child has incurred unmanageable debts, or that you have become involved in a criminal case as a defendant or as an aggrieved party.
Consulting is a matter of trust for us
We realize that when you need help with a case in the area of private law, it can sometimes be a sensitive and very private matter. It is crucial to us that you feel safe, and we therefore emphasize the personal contact and the relationship of trust that the case entails between you and us. We are present in our advice, and the trust between you and us is the cornerstone of the advice we give you. At CLEMENS, we take pride in finding the right solution for you, regardless of whether your private law situation is uncomplicated or more complicated from a legal perspective. At the same time, we make an effort to explain the law in an understandable way, and some of the best feedback we get from our clients is that we have been good at explaining things.
Do you need competent advice in the areas of private law?
CLEMENS' private law team consists of lawyers and legal assistants who are highly specialized and have many years of experience in all areas of private law. We are always up to date with the current legislation and case law in the area, and we also maintain our specialist knowledge by participating in relevant courses, networks, etc. At CLEMENS, you are therefore assured that your private law matters are handled by lawyers and legal assistants who have extensive experience in this particular area as a specialty. We believe that the advice and solutions we can help you with in relation to your private matters are often superior to the advice and solutions provided by lawyers who do not have private law as their core area of expertise. We will therefore be able to help you in all areas and tasks where you as a private individual may need advice from a Attorney - and regardless of whether your need concerns simple or very complicated legal matters. We are thorough in our case management, but also efficient and experienced in quickly gaining the necessary overview of your situation, wishes and needs - as well as the possible solutions, so that we can work with you to find the legal solution that is optimal for you. If your situation or the solution for you involves legal areas other than private law, we involve the relevant competencies from colleagues in other departments at CLEMENS. We emphasize that the advice we provide is always given by people who have the relevant knowledge of the legal area in question, so that we ensure the best solution for you.

When do you need a Attorney?
Unfortunately, we cannot describe in general terms in which situations you should seek advice. It always depends on a specific assessment of your situation and your wishes/needs. If you are unsure whether you need advice and/or the creation of documents, you are also welcome to contact us. We will then often be able to clarify with you relatively easily and quickly whether or not you need legal assistance with your situation. We are aware that there are a number of topics in private law that can be difficult to get to grips with. We regularly experience, for example, in connection with will cases, that a client tells us that it has taken several years to get started on creating a will. Often, at the end of the case, the same client expresses that it gives them peace of mind that things are now taken care of and that they can see that they should have taken action a long time ago. If you are thinking about taking care of a legal matter, our advice to you is to get started and get it taken care of. Waiting until later is unlikely to make it easier, and it would be unfortunate if something unforeseen happens before then, such as a death or dementia, which makes it difficult or impossible to put your affairs in the order you want.
