Since 2005, he has held the role of partner and joined CLEMENS in 2019.

His interest in business management and development is a fundamental part of his professional identity. Understanding how companies make decisions and create value is crucial to him. That's why he actively participates in several boards as a natural extension of his work as Attorney.

In his advice, Morten emphasizes a targeted approach, striking a balance between the legally correct and practical solutions. When analyzing an assignment, he always sets a clear goal and outlines the most appropriate way to get there.
Within M&A, Morten has been responsible for and participated in a wide range of M&A transactions and investments. He is deeply engaged in all aspects of these processes, with a particular interest in the strategic and tactical game of negotiation. Negotiating and building complex contracts is a central part of Morten's work:

"I often compare it to learning to play the piano: the result reflects the hours invested in preparation and negotiation." Morten's client relationships are typically long-term and he acts as a trusted advisor: "It means a lot to me to know my clients' businesses, their management, history and preferences so that I can provide the best possible advice".

Succession consulting has been a big part of his career. Morten prioritizes ensuring that those involved have a clear overview and understand their options, presented in a way that is accessible and decision-friendly:

"I believe that a good Attorney not only presents opportunities, but asks the right questions to bring clarity and the relevant solutions."

For many years, Morten has also specialized in tax law advice, especially focusing on the needs of companies. Among other things, he has often worked with restructurings, LTIP incentive schemes with e.g. warrants and options, establishment in Denmark, and assessment of a wide range of tax law issues.
