Lars Mumm is head of CLEMENS' construction law department together with Søren Hammer Westmark.
For more than 30 years, Lars has primarily worked with construction law and therefore has extensive experience in the field.
Special areas of interest for Lars are:
- assistance with contracting,
- advice on contract interpretation,
- Investigation of matters concerning insurance and tort law related issues,
- assistance in appraisal cases,
- handling arbitration and litigation,
- Participation in settlement negotiations - both informal settlement negotiations and in formal mediation and arbitration, as a party representative.
Through many years of practical experience with contract negotiations, arbitration proceedings and expert opinions, as well as settlement negotiations, Lars has gained a confident ability to identify the core of a challenge, link the commercial aspects with the law, and thereby contribute to achieving the best solution for the client.
Lars became Attorney in 1993, was admitted to the High Court in 1995 and in 2002 he was able to add the Supreme Court to his CV.
In 2021, Lars became a trained mediator within construction.
Lars has extensive teaching experience and teaches contractors and technical consultants in construction law.
