Caroline Sylvester works with HR law/employment law and labor law.

Caroline assists Danish and international clients with all aspects of employment law. She assists with the drafting of employment contracts, terminations (including mass dismissals) and severance agreements as well as related advice.

Caroline also advises companies on matters concerning maternity leave, sick leave, discrimination, grounds for dismissal, bonus schemes and other incentive schemes as well as customer and non-competition clauses.

In recent years, Caroline has been involved in several legal investigations. Lawyer investigations typically have an employment law element - either because employment law rules may potentially have been violated (including, for example, the Danish Working Environment Act) and/or because employees/management have been involved in the matter to be investigated, which is why it may be relevant to consider a possible employment law sanction.

In addition, Caroline advises on collective agreements, including in relation to the conclusion, negotiation and interpretation of collective agreements.

Caroline also advises clients on data protection, including special advice on the processing of employee data in the recruitment phase, during the ongoing employment relationship and in connection with termination of employment.

ESG has also found its way into Caroline's advisory services. Caroline can advise on both the legal ESG requirements, which are constantly evolving these years, as well as on the practical handling of the requirements set by business partners, customers and employees.

Clients often refer to Caroline as both solution-oriented and efficient, and praise her for her involvement in each case, including her understanding of the client's business and commercial needs. Forming relationships with her clients is important to Caroline, which is why she often invests time and resources in getting to know them well.
